AI and Your Private Practice

AI and Your Private Practice
AI and Your Private Practice

Like it or not doctor AI and your private practice (Artificial Intelligence) is here to stay. The reality is there are so many wonderful systems you can implement that when used properly can make your life as a private practice owner a lot simpler.

One of the best ways to use AI in my experience is to help prepare information for patients. Now there are different platforms that will search mountains of data only from two years ago and behind to others that search the most current data.

You’ll have to experiment a little bit and figure out which one is right for you. One caution however you need to be very careful that what you publish is not just copied or is in fact plagiarized material. There are specific “cleansing” tools/sites you can run data through to ensure this is the case.

Another very useful advantage of AI is you can take blog posts, articles or messages you prepare for patients and turn them into videos very easily. As we know, videos tend to expand their reach much more rapidly than printed material today.

But which AI tools to use?

This is where it requires a little bit of research of your own and perhaps some professional guidance. Some tools are better than others. Some are paid, some are free. There are also promises being made by many like “everything in my program is better than the others”. So stay aware and choose wisely.

What I would suggest you do is to wade into the waters carefully. If your dedicated staff is helping, be sure you have ironed out the written policies to follow and tools to use.

Figure out which ones work best for you and start to put them to good use. Done properly, these AI tools are a game changer that can help keep your private practice on top for both you and the patients you serve.

And stay tuned, as AI in private practice is just getting started!
